"You either believe women are people or you don't. It's that simple." - Joss Whedon

Four days ago, Equality Now honored one of my favourite people on the planet, one who is forever at Number 1 on my personal list of potential SFeraKon guests of honour Joss Whedon, for his work on gender equality.

He gave this speach at ‘Make Equality Reality’ event in Beverly Hills, California. Here, in his own words, he digs into the nature of the word ‘feminist’ and proposes an alternative.

Bad ass women in horror movies

There were women however who did survive in/the horror movies. (Not for the faint of heart).
